Tush (tush) , interjection

An exclamation indicating check, rebuke, or contempt; as, tush, tush! do not speak of it.

[Old English tusch, Anglo-Saxon tusc; akin to OFries. tusk, tusch, and probably to Anglo-Saxon tōe tooth. See Tooth, and compare Tusk.]

A long, pointed tooth; a tusk; -- applied especially to certain teeth of horses.

tush (tosh) , noun

[Shortened form of tushie.]
