Roncador

Roncador (ron`kȧ*dōr") , noun

[Sp., a snorer, from roncar to snore. So called in allusion to the grunting noise made by them on being taken from the water. ]

(Zoology) Any one of several species of California sciaenoid food fishes, especially Roncador Stearnsi, which is an excellent market fish, and the red roncador (Corvina saturna syn. Johnius saturna).
