Phyllosoma (fil`lo*sō"mȧ) , noun

(Zoology) The larva of the spiny lobsters (Palinurus and allied genera). Its body is remarkably thin, flat, and transparent; the legs are very long. Called also glass-crab, and glass-shrimp.
