(Class. Mythology) A Grecian legendary hero, son of Jupiter and Danae, who slew the Gorgon Medusa.

(Astronomy) A consellation of the northern hemisphere, near Taurus and Cassiopea. It contains a star cluster visible to the naked eye as a nebula.
