[Latin palilogia, Greek palillogi`a; pa`lin again + le`gein to speak.]

(Rhetoric) The repetition of a word, or part of a sentence, for the sake of greater emphasis; as, “The living, the living, he shall praise thee.” — Is. xxxviii. 19
