Haemocytotrypsis (-sī`to*trip"sis) , noun

[New Latin, from Greek a"i^ma blood + ky`tos hollow vessel + tri`bein to rub, grind.]

(Physiology) A breaking up of the blood corpuscles, as by pressure, in distinction from solution of the corpuscles, or haemocytolysis.
