Enterocole , noun
[Greek 'e`nteron an intestine + koi^lon a hollow.]
(Anatomy) A perivisceral cavity which arises as an outgrowth or outgrowths from the digestive tract; distinguished from a schizocole, which arises by a splitting of the mesoblast of the embryo.
