Emanate , intransitive verb

[Latin emanare, emanatum, to emanate; e out + manare to flow, prob. for madnare, and akin to madere to be wet, drip, madidus wet, drenched, drunk, Greek {not transcribed}, {not transcribed}, wet, {not transcribed} to be wet, Sanskrit mad to boil, matta drunk. Compare Emane.]
