[New Latin, from Greek di- = di`s- twice + ke`ntron spur.]

(Botany) A genus of herbaceous plants, with racemes of two-spurred or heart-shaped flowers, including the Dutchman's breeches, and the more showy Bleeding heart (Dicentra spectabilis).
