[Old English broket, French broquart fallow deer a year old, from the same root as English broach, meaning point (hence tine of a horn).]

(Zoology) A male red deer two years old; -- sometimes called brock.
2.
(Zoology) A small South American deer, of several species (Coassus superciliaris, Coassus rufus, and Coassus auritus).
