[Latin biliosus, from bilis bile.]

Of or pertaining to the bile.

Disordered in respect to the bile; troubled with an excess of bile; as, a bilious patient; dependent on, or characterized by, an excess of bile; as, bilious symptoms.

Choleric; passionate; ill tempered.
